This is the filament of a Speedotron strobe which was on modeling light setting. Shot with D200, 60mm Macro Nikkor 2.8 at 1:1. I used another modeling light to find a composition and focus that I liked, cut it off, turned on the other, and shot it at F32@1/8000. Then took it into Photoshop and tweaked the color for a little fun.

i really like how this came out.
I agree with Matt. Nice color choice, good exposure and composition. Way to see the small stuff...literally.
