The setup for the silhouette was rather simple. On either side of the model there is a roll board used to block light from hitting the subject while at the same time bouncing light back onto the wall behind him. Behind each board there are 2 750 watt hot lights setup in 45 degree copy light fashion against the back wall. Also, the subject is on a raised platform covered in black to bring him further up into the light. Then, simply expose for white value of the wall and it's silhouette time.
